Capsules de poésie is a piece for six performers that fuses hip-hop dance, contemporary dance, poetry and singing. On stage, the artists, who come from different cultures, intertwine their movements and voices to create a dialogue around a shared goal: to rediscover beauty in simplicity and to re-humanize our social interactions. Children’s chairs punctuate the space, evoking a time when the way we inhabited the world was guided by authenticity and attention to detail. Bodies move, pause, and explore a space that is both physical and internal.
“Which space do I occupy in this world?”
“When I move, is it to exist or to disappear?”
Each gesture, or its absence, becomes a poetic capsule, a remedy for the soul in the face of acceleration and automation. Sensitive and engaged, the piece invites us to suspend time and reconnect with what is essential.
