I am Juliana Kis, a movement artist based in Paris. My work moves between cultures, emotions, and stories to create lasting impact.
Juliana Kis
Brazilian-Greek based in Paris, Juliana Kis is a dancer, tecaher, judge, choreographer, and movement director. With a multicultural background, she is known for her musicality and attention to detail. She blends hip-hop, contemporary dance, and theater into visually striking and emotionally compelling projects.
Juliana's portfolio includes a broad range of work in various high-profile collaborations and events with renowned international brands such as Just Dance; Bobo Chic; Red Bull; Louis Vuitton; Nikon; Coupe de France; TV Globo; Volvo, and others.
DANCER
As a dancer she has worked in interdisciplinary projects involving dance, theatre, video, photography, poetry, calligraphy, live music, and more. She has had the opportunity to work across America, Europe, and Asia. Juliana is currently a member of the acclaimed productions 'Les Indes Galantes - Opéra Ballet' and 'G.R.O.O.V.E', having had the privilege of working with Bintou Dembélé's - Cie Rualité, a leading force in the dance community. Highlights: Opéra National de Paris; Centre Pompidou; Festival de Marseille; Opening of IN - Festival d'Avignon at Opéra Grand Avignon.
TEACHER & JUDGE
With extensive teaching experience at events across Brazil, France, USA, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and Luxembourg, she has notably participated, as a teacher and judge, in Latin America's largest competition, the Festival de Dança de Joinville (Brazil), recognized as one of the largest dance events in the world.

She has judged international dance competitions in multiple cities across South America and Europe. Highlights: Neodance Convention (France), Festival de Dança de Joinville and Festival Internacional de Hip Hop (Brazil), 30º Jugendtanztag (Germany), STBDance All Stars and Hip Hop Meeting (Portugal).
CHOREOGRAPHER &
MOVEMENT DIRECTOR
As a choreographer, Juliana designs performances for events and companies, directs movement for music artists and videos, and creates content for brands. She has choreographed for music videos and major international events, including Disneyland Paris (France), Rock in Rio (Brazil), and the Kraft Heinz Global Convention (USA). Founder and artistic director of Brainstorm Dance Company since 2014, she has been based in Paris since 2022. Her latest work, Entrelacées, won the Urban Shakers competition (L’Oréal Women’s Fund), addressing sexism and sexual violence. Juliana has used art as a tool for social transformation, creating performances and installations focused on gender inequality, vulnerability, and women’s empowerment.
